I run the Geology Department tool room. Tools available for research include a JEOL JXA 8900M Electron Probe Microanalyzer, an ElectroScan 2020 Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope, a Philips XRD, a Fisons DCP Atomic Emission Spectrometer, and the ancilliary sample preparation and coating equipment. The equipment is used by faculty, staff, students and commercial entities for a wide range of research purposes.
